In recent years, global environmental problems have come to the fore. In supporting environmental protection, Sugino is aggressively improving the original ultra high-pressure technology in addition to pursuing the research and development of mechatronics technology.
Non-CFC and cavitations system
Sugino Machine's ultra high-pressure technology has made an excellent contribution to various industries that demand technologies for cleaning, deburring, cutting, or coating and hard surface removing. Water Jet Cutter, one of the most significant of Sugino's products, uses this technology to discharge pressurized water.

Sugino's pressurizing and ultra-atomization, an application of pressurizing technology, is used in many different situations to develop new products. These technologies are becoming increasingly important in industry and society.
New discovery from the CO2 solidifying technology
Sugino Machine has teamed up with an electric power company to promote research for "Solidifying CO2": Mass consumption of fossil fuel generated CO2 causes global warming. Sugino attempted to solidify and pool CO2 on the seabed, and completed the project by 1994, with excellent results. During this project, Sugino initiated research for a new energy source called "methane hydrate" discovered. The purpose of the research is to extract methane and solidify CO2 at the same time. Methane is an unconventional natural gas and is reserved underground in Japanese waters. This new technology is receiving public attention among efforts to solve both global environment and energy problems.
Nuclear Power Plant Inspection Maintenance
Sugino Machine has developed inspection and maintenance equipment to maintain secure operations of nuclear power plants.
