Removing burrs from saw teeth |
|
|
Prior to setting teeth on a saw blade, a water jet is used to remove the burrs on the parent material of the blade. Ultra-sound cleaning was the previous method to use or a wire brush was the standard; both methods tended to create shear drops. The water jet can remove the same burrs without leaving any shear drops and the process can be easily automated to cut down the cost. |
