The Self-Unit VC15 is a highly rigid, vertical machining unit with Spindle Taper #30 and 15-tool ATC. As an option, we also manufacture a model with a 27-tool ATC specification.

1. High Speed and High Rigidity

Rigidity has been maximized by utilizing a spindle with a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm and a newly constructed column traverse.
Processing with Spindle Taper #40 is also possible.

The unit's long stroke provides superior performance for simultaneous processing of multiple workpieces, thereby improving productivity. Up to 27 tools can be attached to the unit.

3. Two-face Contact Tool Shank Compatibility

The unit facilitates both stable high speed, high precision processing as well as medium-low speed and heavy cutting, being compatible with a reliable two-face contact tool shank.
