"Synchro Tapper" Mechanically-feed Tapping Unit Q&A

Synchro Tapper Q&A

Q1. What grade of screw precision can this machine process?

Processing can be performed for 6H grade screws.

However, it is required to use screw-tap that is applicable for processing 6H grade screws and to manage the diameter of the prepared hole.

Q2. How can the stroke be changed?

STB-H/L, STC-P, STE

You can change the stroke by adjusting the dock within the unit.

ST1, ST2, ST3, ST4

You can change it by changing the program.

A ST1 or ST4 Synchro Tapper can register up to 99 programs that vary in stroke and rotation speed.
For the ST2 or ST3 Synchro Tapper, you can set up to four programs with the optional operation pattern selection function. This switching can be done with a sequencer.

Q3. What are the features of the servo motor driven Synchro Tapper?

It enables high-speed synchro-tapping of up to 4,000 min -1. The accuracy of the repeated forward end is within ±0.03 mm, and screw processing of a blind hole can easily be done. Also, it is possible to set a secondary origin, which enables frequent tapping.
