Superoll Level: Roller Burnishing Tool for Flat Surfaces
The "Superoll Level" roller burnishing tool for flat surfaces uses a face milling technique (cross cutting) to mirror-finish flat surfaces and improve surface quality. It is ideal for finishing the mating surfaces of transmission components and tool surfaces.
Note: Tool shape is as shown above in the dimension Figure 1 and Figure 2.
Applicable machines: Machining Centers, Milling Machines
How to use the Superoll Level
- Attach the Superoll Level to the machining center or milling machine.
- Set the driving engine z-axis (stroke control) accurately for optimal roller surface compaction.
- The Superoll Level rolling-compacts the workpiece surface as it rotates the Superoll.
