What is Water Jet?
A water jet is a high-speed jet of water with a velocity of tens to hundreds of meters per second, generated by applying pressure of several MPa to several hundred MPa to water and jetting it from a nozzle.
It is said that water jet process is low environmental load, as various applications like parts cutting, washing, construction works can be done by only water jetting to the objects.
Since the development of the SUGINO PUMP (high-pressure water generating pump) in 1964, SUGINO MACHINE has continued to evolve over the past 50 years in response to customer requests.
We will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by utilizing water jet technology in a wide variety of applications.
