When we were founded in 1936, steam engines were a major source of power.
As boilers operate, scale builds up inside their piping.
A tube cleaner is a tool for removing this scale.
At the time, we had no choice but to rely on expensive imported products.
Founder Rimpei Sugino believed that Japan needed a domestically produced tube cleaner for the country’s development, and devoted himself to tireless research and development, working day and night.
He eventually completed Japan’s first domestically produced tube cleaner,
featuring a cutter head driven by hydraulic and pneumatic pressure.
He designed and built products himself, sold them directly to customers, and expanded sales nationwide.
Our founding spirit of “Think for ourselves, create for ourselves,
and sell and service by ourselves” has been passed down for 90 years and continues to guide us today.

Our founding product, the Tube Cleaner, gave rise to four core technologies:
high-pressure water technology, an energy-market network, pipe-processing expertise, and air-motor technology.
By listening to our customers and developing, manufacturing, selling, and servicing products that meet society’s needs, our technologies have continued to evolve, deepen, and merge,
growing into today’s six areas of “SUPER TECHNOLOGY”:
