Float deburring can significantly reduce teaching time compared to rigid machining.​

 

Reason 1 Can be taught by placing the tip on the workpiece.

The floating mechanism acts as a damper, allowing teaching with the dummy cutter in contact with the workpiece.
This allows for highly accurate programs to be created from the beginning, which significantly reduces work time.​

Reason 2 Can absorb the ambiguous trajectory of the robot.

The floating mechanism absorbs the discrepancy between the robot teaching and automatic operation trajectories, cutting too deep the workpiece and remaining burrs.​

The floating mechanism allows the user to experiment with various conditions because there is little reaction force on the spindle or robot.

Float deburring has less reaction force than rigid machining, enabling deburring with a small, light-weight robot.

It also prevents breakage of cutting tools and chock stops due to overload alarms.

BARRIQUAN BRQ-EZ01 is compact and lightweight, with an outer diameter of 40 mm × length of 246.5 mm and a mass of 1.64 kg, turning a small robot into a high-speed deburring machine.

BARRIQUAN BRQ-EZ01 has a one-touch mechanism for the part that holds the tool (floater).

Various cutting tools can be easily interchanged, reducing the time required to determine conditions for blade selection, speed of rotation, and feed rate.

Maintenance is also easy, and with proper maintenance, the product can be used for a long time.
